accidentally left behind and fails to realize the war
is over.  They continue their tactical activities and
darkly comedic hijinx for a total of almost 11 years

1951: A humanoid space traveler and his robot
companion visit Earth to warn humanity against the
terrible consequences of nuclear war and future
conflicts in space.  Elite US commandos kill these
alien invaders

1952: The US Air Force's "Project Bluebook"
investigates aliens

1954: Ernst Hemingway receives the Nobel Prize
in History

1956: Japan develops highly advanced giant robot
technology

1956: US astronauts travel to Planet X and return
safely

1957: The superstar rockabilly singer Elvis is
briefly jailed

1958: The radiation-spawned 65-Foot Woman
appears and goes on an unstoppable rampage until
mysteriously vanishing (brought back in time to the
Age of the Titans)

1959: The mega super model "Debbie the Doll"
begins her career and captivates America with her
lavish lifestyle and trademark pink sports car and
Miami dream mansion

1960 - 1970: The US government sponsored
super team "The Silver Agents" are active

- Silver Falcon
...and many others

1962: The gamma radiation-spawned monster
"
Green Meanie" comes into being

1962: A uniformed MJ-12 is active; each member
has an elemental-related power and the number 12
on their uniform

1962: The Silver Agents efficiently resolve the
Cuban Missile Crisis by rampaging through Cuba over
the course of 13 days, destroying all Soviet nuclear
missiles deployed there before they can be launched

1963: JFK, blown away, what else do I have to say?

1964: The Beatles visit America and appear on the
Ed Sullivan Show; they also fight evil first as the
super team "The Silver Beatles" and later as "The
Fab Four"

1965: The Vietnam War begins; a crack commando
team doesn't commit any war crimes, but is
generally believed to have done so by the American
public

1966: Captain Obvious and Gigantic Man active
until both mysteriously disappear several years
later (brought back to the
Stone Age and Age of
Titans, respectively)

1966: Four bright pastel colored giant hippopotami
battle each other over food in various American
cities

1966: The strange creature known as Mothman
first seen in West Virginia

1967: A mysterious Red and Blue Robot fight a
prolonged battle against each other for unknown
reasons.  Some view it as an anonymous mad
scientist's performance art allegory for the Cold
War, but most people who witness the fighting
firsthand tend to agree that the robots genuinely
want to destroy one another

1968: A strange epidemic causes corpses to return
to life, hungry for human brains, until the creatures
are systematically hunted down and killed, although
periodic outbreaks continue to this day

1969: Doggy, Skinny, and some other teenagers
solve monster-related mysteries until Doggy and
Skinny suddenly disappear without explanation
(brought back in time to join the
Stone Age MJ-12)

1969: Woodstock, a gathering for peace, love, and
harmony, proves too tempting of a target for
brain-craving zombies to pass up... the resulting loss
of life is legendary

1969: The US establishes a colony on the Moon
